HV System solutions
The high voltage power supplies of the CAPTEC-, GLOWTEC-, VAPTEC-, LITEC- and WELTEC series are switched in parallel to increase the output power. For this purpose the power supplies can be connected in parallel with optical fiber cables. One of the power supplies has to be configurated as master and the others as slave. The total power is divided proportionally between the connected devices.
On request J. Schneider can install the devices in the required control cabinet.
The assembly includes:
- all necessary back-up fuses
- the necessary auxiliary voltages
- the required interlock circuit
- the cooling water circuit (for water cooling)
- the required sub-distribution

- The control cabinets are constructed according to the DIN VDE 0100 regulations
- the protective conductor system is tested according to DIN VDE 0100, part 600
- Insulation and functional testing largely carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0113 / 06.93 EN 60204
